The Indian Sales Director of Finnair Ms Taina Tornstrom has also expressed the plans by Finnair to offer daily flights to New Delhi from October this year. These regular flights operated by Finnair would offer easy and quick connections to various parts in Europe. Only after the initiation of the daily flights to New Delhi by Finnair, decisions would be made by it to operate flights to other Indian cities like Mumbai or Chennai. Finnair has tied up with various Indian airline companies like Indian Airlines and Air India and is at present expecting consent for a tie-up from Kingfisher.
Finnair provides frequent-flyer partnerships with a number of airlines comprising American Airlines, British Airways, Japan Airlines, Qantas and Cathay Pacific. In fact, Finnair offers excellent membership tiers including Junior, Basic, Platinum, Gold and Silver.
