Ideally situated on the banks of the Yamuna River, Rajghat is a major tourist attraction of the city. The simple black marble platform was built in memory of the man who devoted his entire life for the cause of Indian independence. The samadhi of Jawaharlal Nehru lies to the north of Rajghat and is known as the Shantivan.
